The Library subscribes to the National Film Board's (NFB) program called CAMPUS.
This program is an online streaming service for Canadian film and media across a wide range of subject areas. Faculty and Instructors may login and access to over 3,000 productions — documentaries, animations, feature films and interactive titles — and a vast bank of teaching resources.
To access CAMPUS, faculty and instructors will first need to create an individual account.
Use this guide to learn now to create your own account, search the collection, and create playlists.
Create your own chapters
CAMPUS subscribers have access to tools that allow them to identify, create, store and organize specific chapters of NFB films into excerpts that can be viewed at a later date in an educational setting.
Create your own playlists
CAMPUS subscribers can create personalized playlists of films and chapters that complement specific curriculum and classroom needs. Your playlists are accessible wherever you are, whenever you want them.
Share with your students
CAMPUS subscribers can assign prepared playlists, chapters or even entire films to their students or share the material with parents or colleagues simply by sending a link via e-mail: an easy and efficient way to give non-CAMPUS subscribers access to CAMPUS from their homes. Students will come to class ready for a discussion while parents will have the opportunity to see what their children are watching – it’s a win-win.

In addition to viewing the films, you will be able to create playlists and use chapter clips, and enhanced educator content after you create a free personal NFB.ca account. Learn how to create playlists, and chapter clips with the Quick start guide to film playlists and chapters on NFB.ca.
To view National Film Board videos off campus, you will be prompted to authenticate yourself as a College of the Rockies faculty, staff, or student. Use your College Network Account.
To access this service, you must create an account and follow the instructions. Choose COLLEGE OF THE ROCKIES from the list located on the CAMPUS Hello page..
On the next page, create your profile or if you already have an NFB account, login.
