2025+ Guidelines for Articulation Travel
For the coming fiscal 2025-26 year and foreseeable future, the following articulation travel guidelines will apply:
- Faculty are strongly encouraged to attend virtually when the option is available.
- The college is only able to fund one articulation meeting for a faculty member per year. If someone is responsible for multiple disciplines, that person will need to choose which articulation meeting to attend and may choose to alternate to the other discipline(s) in subsequent years.
- At no point will the college send multiple faculty to the same articulation meeting. If more than one faculty member is interested in traveling to articulation, a decision must be made as to who will represent the college at the meeting.
- Likewise, if an area has multiple meetings, only one meeting can be funded out of the articulation travel budget.
- Cost differentials for last-minute bookings and rentals can be denied if there is a significant difference from what was approved in the Travel Request Form. Please make bookings as soon as travel requests are approved.
- When a budget decision must be made as to offering travel opportunities to articulation meetings between one program or another, the footprint of the program area and the number of students impacted will be a significant factor in determining approval. If an online option is available, that will be another significant deciding factor.
The College's priority is to ensure the largest number of faculty continue to have the opportunity to engage disciplinary specialists and colleagues, everyone's effort to minimize articulation travel budget costs is highly appreciated.
