About Writing Help Services
You will find three separate services to help you with your writing while at College of the Rockies:
1) Face-to-Face Writing Lab
The Writing Lab is located in the Library's Study Room 120A1.
The Face to Face Writing Lab is open for the Winter 2017 term from Monday, January 16th to Thursday, April 13th, 2017.
Mondays 9:00 am to 2:00 pm by appointment only
Tuesdays 9:00 am to 2:00 pm by appointment only
Wednesdays 9:00 am to 2:00 pm by appointment or drop-in
Thursdays 11:00 am to 2:00 pm by appointment or drop-in
The Writing Lab is a free service available to all College of the Rockies registered students. It is staffed by a qualified writing tutor who helps students with individual writing consultations by appointment. The goal of the Writing Lab is to help students improve the writing skills they need to be successful at the college level. The Writing Lab works closely with the Library to provide a range of academic support services.

Sign up sheets are available at the Circulation Desk in the Library.
The Drop-In service is located in Room 111.

WriteAway is an online writing support service for undergraduate students. Submit up to three drafts of your paper to WriteAway, and online tutors will provide strategies and resources to help you improve your writing.
WriteAway is open for the Winter 2017 term from Monday, January 16th to Friday, April 7th, 2017.
Need Help Learning Computer Programs?
The College Library provides access to Lynda.com, an online subscription library that teaches the latest software tools and skills through high-quality instructional videos.
Access this vast library of high-quality videos that will help you update your software, creative or business skills. Each online video tutorial is presented in short segments and many courses include exercises to help clarify the instruction.
Topics offered include: the entire suite of Microsoft and Adobe products, website development, business skills, design skills, audio and video tools, creative inspirations, and much more. All of the courses are taught by expert instructors and have fully searchable transcripts.
Keep track of your learning with playlists and earn certificates of accomplishment for each course viewed.
