About Downloading eBooks

The Library subscribes/purchases many e-books from several sources.  However, if you are using an e-book we have subscribed/purchased from EBSCO, you will be required to set up a personal EBSCO account and log in whenever you wish to DOWNLOAD an e-book onto your own device.

When on campus you will not download an ebook to the college computers but will be able to read the ebook easily at any computer terminal.

Before putting an e-book on your personal computer, tablet, or eReader, you may need to:

  • create an Adobe ID
  • download Adobe Digital Editions (free)
  • download an e-reader app
  • login to ebrary or your library account

Reading eBooks on Devices

Use this guide to learn how to upload and read e-books on smartphones, smart devices, tablets, and other emerging technologies.

The Library continually updates the offerings of over 100,000 e-books available to faculty, students, and staff and available to read on many ebook reader devices.
